I make some of my own picks out of offcuts from 0.5 mm black scratchplate celluloid.
(It seems to be the same stuff Gibson use for their picks.)
They can be any size or shape. All you need is a sharp pair of scissors and a nail file.
People who supply instrument makers sell it.
