I like the fact that my watch probably has 5 or 10 cents worth of material in it... and that it was put together by a machine, or by a dude who's now making more money than anyone in his family ever has...

That way, when my watch breaks (I had one 10 buck watch last me 15 years) it bothers me not at all to toss it out and go get a new one...

I'd love to see a place for dropping off old electronics like that, of course... cell phones... old PCs... watches... hand-helds... old guitar tuners and effects peddles.... to reclaim what could be reclaimed... To recycle what can be recycled...   I just don't think there is one around here yet...
