The Sheik of Araby ("an overnight hit") was 1921, as also were Toot, Toot, Tootsie and April Showers and California, Here I Come.

In 1922, Paul Whiteman had a million seller with Three O'Clock In The Morning (a waltz) and another giant hit was Parade of The Wooden Soldiers (based on a German original). Carolina In The Morning, Way Down Yonder In New Orleans were also 1922.

(The above information from The Jazz Age - Popular Music In The 1920s by Arnold Shaw)
