My mother was a charming lady with silver gray hair, who spoke like a propah Bahstonian. My friend Nils held her in great reverence.
I wish you could have seen the look on his face when he began singing, "Oh this is the day they give babies away with a half a pound of tea" and mother chimed in with "If you know any ladies who want any babies just send them along to me!"
He still talks about it!
