Having gone thru a little of this myself it is my belief that the spirits of those have passed linger strongly fir awhile and this is a time when you can hook up with them...

Invite some friends over who also knew these folks and also invite these folks who have passed. Drink a little wine, burn some candles, tell some stories, sing some songs and know that your friends will be there with you singing and partaking...

And sure, its okay to cry between the stories but I think you'll find some laughter to go with the tears...
