I think it's highly unlikely that very many people over here who might describe themselves as "evangelical" give any credence whatsoever to this stuff. For example the last Archbishop lf Canterbury was always referred to as from the evangeical wing of the Church of Engand.

I'd suspect that that 70 million figure might include a fair number of people with fairly normal mainstream Christian beliefs, and this "rapture" certainly doesn't really fall within these.
