Hello everyone.

I am from down south and a folkie. I got into folk through my mum being a morris dancer. Very few, if any other folkies in my school, and my town is a bit isolated so I never got to go to any folk clubs. The morris dancers allowed us as a family to tour all over the place. I have been going to Towersey for the past 6 years and wewent to hungary for an international folk festival.

I am now doing the folk degree at Newcastle University. It's great and has folkies of all ages.
