June's Tabor's latest CD is "An Echo of Hooves" (2003). Ten of the eleven tracks are Child ballads, so some may find it a bit heavy, but it's a masterpiece if you like that sort of stuff and her singing has never been better. The liner notes, which include the lyrics and their sources (including the sources for the tunes), along with notes on the songs' histories, are worth the money alone.

Martin Simpson accompanies her on 2 tracks, as does the Northunbrian piper Kathryn Tickell on 2 others.
