Fair do's - the Taliban in Afghanistan were (and are) about as right wing as you can get. They just weren't the right variety of fundamentalist to be in Bush's good books. And the evidence that they actually had anything whatsoever to do with September 11th or any real control over Bin Laden is pretty shaky.
