Cutting and pasting work jes' fine. You can take care of the line breaks very simply: use a carriage return (Enter key) at the end of every line you type. Then use Replace All to change the paragraph signs (use ^p) to ^p followed by {BR}, only with angle brackets instead of curly brackets.

Then cut and paste.
