Thread Name: Lyr Req: Good Morning Mr. Walker
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Good Morning Mr. Walker
In addition to my usual handicap (nonnative speaker), I had a problem here with the quality, for I only have an old tape of this recording. Whenever I didn't trust my transcription, I have used parentheses. But that doesn't mean at all I'm confident the other parts are correct. This transcription is in urgent need of an improvement.

GOOD MORNING, MR. WALKER

She's ugly, yes,
she's wearing that expensive dress,
the people say she's ugly
with a (furnace??) full of money
(Lord, why oh why???)

Chorus:
Good morning, Mr. Walker,
I've come to see your daughter,
Oh Mr. Walker,
I've come to see your daughter,
sweet Rosemary (Rosalie?),
she promised she would marry me
and now I'm tired of waiting
I've come to fix the wedding.

I fix the wedding day
and I don't care what nobody say,
every time I take a look to (her?) face
I see a...(thankful?).....??.
(Lord, why oh why???)

All might know,
cause I don't intend to let her go.
Oh, if she was a beauty,
someone like me couldn't get she.
(Lord, why oh why???)

Apart from that
they say how she's so big and fat.
When she dress they (tend to lie??)
(she saying??) monkey wearing a (mini oh?????)
(Lord, why oh why???)
