Subject: BS: The English Mid West and bits of Wales!
Three weeks running now I have had recourse to travel down the length of Cheshire and Shropshire. The last time (Yesterday) I also traveled the Wye Valley and bits of Herefordshire around Hereford.

It is a beatiful looking section of the Country. Monmouth looked a lovely town (City?) as did Tintern. (Joke heard on Wogan - 2 brummies traveling down the Wye valley. Oh, look. An Abbey. Tintern Abbey. Tis an Abbey!) Anywaym, I digress. I love the lake district and the Yorkshire dales but these areas look just as lovely, and perhaps a little easier on the old legs!

Anyone know the Stretton Hills or the Wye Valley well? Anyone folking about round there? Any recommendations or advice about visiting the area?

Cheers
