Well, some of you know that Mister and I have been working on getting a new CD together for about a year now. We finished the recording some time ago, and everytime we had the money to proceed with production, we had to spend it on something necessary, like car repairs and root canals. Finally after Christmas we had all the money together, we chose all the songs, I got a quote from the CD people... and this morning, we find out Mister's Jeep needs a new engine.

Sigh.

It would be easier and cheaper to get the new engine than to get a new car, and with any luck a new engine would go another 200,000 miles. I think we probably have enough money to pay for it all, but if we had to do it all at once, it would pretty much clean us up. So it isn't entirely bleak, but sort of a bummer.

Reckon it's time to sell Daddy's Rolex. Anybody interested?
