I also wanted Bob to win - that would have been really refreshing - but we thought the whole programme was pretty good. Never mind, he's coming on to Sounds of Folk on March 1st so I can drool then!!!

I'd never heard of the Waifs before but was quite impressed with them (as was my 23 year old non-folkie son!!) so I bought their album in HMV the following day - it's good!!

And I think that Co Down (performed by Danu, written by Tommy Sands) is the most beautiful song I've heard for quite some time.
