It's hard to tell without actually sitting at your computer, Kat, but if you're running any spyware/adware watchdog programs, that might be the problem. Turn off your watchdog programs then try to install Eudora. If that works, you can still go back later and remove the adware that Eudora installs. I don't remember whether removing the mandatory adware causes problems for Eudora or not so be sure you drop breadcrumbs so you can find your way back if you need to.
