Subject: RE: Lyr Req: MacCalmans song Kora (House Full lp)
Hi all,

Malcolm. The record sleeve gives no information on the tracks at all,
the record label says "trad arr The McCalmans". Sorry I can't give
you any more than this.

Wolfgang. Thanks for the thanks, I listened to this on speakers and
two different types of headphones to pick out the various words, it
does make a difference to hear it from different sources, and at
varying volume levels.

In that first line of the last verse, the words "then I rest", sound
on the record as "then abrevst or abreast", (it certainly sounds like
a V in it), which doesn't make much sense with the context and feel of the rest of the verse, which is why I went for "then I rest". Possibly it's a dialect word of some kind, any Scots out there know
this one?

Keep at it, you'll get there in the end.

Cheers

Cattail !
