"Plaisir d'amour" or "The Joys of Love" has been recorded by Richard Dyer-Bennet, complete with lute-like classic guitar accompaniment. He sings the entire song in his own translation from French. It's on his own label, Dyer-Bennet Records, No. 1. I have the old vinyl record, but it has been re-issued on CD. I've seen ads for it in recent issues of Sing Out!
