well CAROL C,i was born at the wrong time i guess,but i did spend 8 years in the USN-R...i joined while in my jr.,year in high school,1954...
so my time served was between the korean war and before the vietnam war...
and then,president EISENHOWER,proclaimed all active reservist during peace time could full fill their obligation by staying in the reserves as long as no national emergency existed...
so,i guess it's my dad's or mom's fault i was born in 1936...
anyway,what do you know about the military?
