Tom Russell is back with a wonderful new CD of songs set in the west called "Indians Cowboys Horses Dogs." He wrote about half the songs and includes a traditional folk song and songs from Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Marty Robbins, Linda Thompson and Peter LaFarge.

There is an incredible ten minute version of Dylan's "Lily, Rosemary & the Jack Of Hearts" that he does as a trio with Eliza Gilkyson and Joe Ely. Andrew Hardin's incredible guitar playing is heard throughout with some fiddling by Elana Fremerman from Hot Club of Cowtown and accordion from Joel Guzman.
