Metchosin, just got back to the PC. In answer your question about the hunting attire, in low income areas like West Virginia, it is worn all the time. In fact a RealTree camo sweatshirt is kind of like a Nike sneaker in the city. And in reality it is not a fashion statement. If you've got the money for a new winter outfit, you want to be able to wear it on the job and to help put meat on the table.

BTW a good friend of mine who is a famous Hammered Dulcimer builder just smoked two bambis with one shot from a .58 black powder rifle. They have been eating his wife's herb garden, and he regards them as Rats with Horns. In any case, he was only aiming at one from the window in his workshop. When 8 legs went through the air he thought he had poured too much powder and blew the deer up. Nope! Got the first through the neck and the second in the shoulder. The first was clean meat, but the .58 reduced the second to stew meat (some of which I picked up today).
