Subject: RE: New Personal Pages Feature
I thought about that, but there are problems as I see it. For example, some time ago there was a thread that outwardly was of no interest to me, but I noticed that the number of responses had gone far beyond the number you would expect to see from that particular subject. So I punched it up, and discovered the "Great California Dreamin'/Folk Music Debate". I would hate to have missed that, even though I don't think we ever got around to an answer. Of course, deleting threads from a person's own list would be their choice, but they would have no way of knowing what was going on in those threads after that point.

My theory is: I read the ones that I am interested in, and I answer the ones I care to. I have to admit to not responding at times, even when I know what the person is looking for. Oh, sometimes if they are not getting anywhere, I might go back later and respond, but it depends on how much I care about what they are talking about. Now that the default setting is three days, I never find the list too long anyway. Note that I am not arguing with Susan, merely adding my thoughts on the matter.
