True about the image conjured by "Nerd." But in real life I am six foot two, two hundred pounds, lift weights thrice a week, bearded, and wear no glasses. My best friend think I look like Steve Reeves, the guy who used to play Hercules, though I admit I'm not as trim!   I also don't wish to attract chicks, except for my wife. So the image doesn't concern me.

I don't like Dick Shunnary much...I guess if I were concerned with images conjured by my name, I'd pick "nerd" over "dick."

How about Lex Icon? It works better orthographically than aurally, but it has the added plus that I get to be an Icon.

I do think Martin Gibson is a cool fake name!
