There is no excuse for the amount of stuff he left out of all of the films. the worst by far was the third part, he totally changed the ending so it was happy and "hollywood"

b******s to him but he made a pretty good effort. if he was a fan though, he would have done an adaptation of the story, not change it to suit his and hollywoods needs
