Strick - I've no complaints about what he left out. It's what he changed that pisses me off. LOTR was voted the book of the millennium. Scarcely anyone will remember Jackson's name in a century. Who the hell does he think he is to "improve" things? Oh, & the fact that, as a director, he's an arty-farty idiot with only the slenderest grasp of the mundane reality of the things that he's filming.
