For anybody's information- One of the real charms of the Getaway is that participation is primarily active , not passive. Workshops are not mini-concerts; they're give-and take song swaps involving members of a well-informed, often extremely talented "audience"; leaders don't concertize, but serve to keep thing moving. Performances are largely limited to evening concerts (read "open mikes") and the occasional mini-concert during the day. If you're coming, please be prepared to sing!
