    Down Waterloo Road was written by Mike Deighan, who was in a group called Jugular Vein, issued on an LP of that name in 1978, if you are really desperate for the words, I'll see if I can dig them up.
Incidentally, Mr Deighan also wrote something called "Rosie Broke the egg on the Washboard." which seemed mildly amusing at the time I ripped it offt, but doesn't seem so now!
