A brave post Jim...Thanks for saying the unsayable,that the sectarian virus even afflicts the greats of "Folk music", people who should be far above such filth.
I myself have no religion,but my wife and I once found ourselves in a country restaurant,sitting at the next table were a group of Glasgow Rangers directors and their wives,for about half an hour we sat listening to the most obscene sectarian "jokes"and stories,the wives being the worst offenders. We are no prudes,but were so sickened,we had to leave before we could finish our meal.
I have always viewed sectarianism as the biggest barrier to Scottish nationhood....Ake
