I agree about the extended editions. Well worth the money. If you're going to buy the DVDs, get the extended editions. over 30 extra minutes of must-see footage in "Fellowship" and over 40 minutes in "Two Towers". Fills out the story a lot and the soundtrack was re-edited and re-composed to make the additions seamless. I look forward to the release of "Return" in the same version. Still boggles my mind that Peter Jackson took time out from filming and editing the more recent chapeters to go back and re-do the previous movies in extended format for DVD release. When did he sleep?
