Australia was recently hit by lots of this sort of thing purporting to come from aussie banks. I've watched Mailwasher isolate and nuke lots of this sort of thing from Ebay, etc - you can see if there is an attachment and the total size of the email... The one that claimed to be from the Bendigo Bank (yes the town is the name famous from our golddigging/bushranger days) which was spelt 'Bendugo Bank' caused some merriment...
