I noted earlier that Canadian server names were being used in these messages in Canada. Legitimate notices about email delivery from Shaw.ca do not have attachments; the email text has the message. If there is an attachment it is not from Shaw; delete.
Like most employees, those working for the state of California use office computers for some (a lot?) of personal mail. The State has a pretty good firewall system, though. Last week I forgot and sent a Bush cartoon to a friend in a state office rather than at his home. Delivery was refused, and the friend got a warning email telling him that a 'subversive' message had been received and deleted.
