Midchuck, you HAVE to get to this one. I also recommend taking Fri and Mon off to do so. I am beginning to think of a Manchester BWI flight down, as southwestern is pretty inexpensive and it's a darn sight quicker, although riding down with Barry was much of the fun last year. Down with Barry, back with Southwestern???
Also, was there some talk of a concert tour with Alaska Mike to make the trip worthwhile? I know that I have done some concert presenting and have had mixed results, but if you want to take a chance on a house concert (great food, a good place to stay and possibly some $$) I might be able to swing it, although I'd be at the extreme end of the tour (so what else is new)
I can't speak for Vermont drivers now, but I do wonder at the folks who do the Montpelier-Burlington commute at 70 mph in ice and snow, and wear high heels or dress shoes and look so darned startled when they can't even get out of their stuck SUVs on the interstate because of the ice. Must be flatlanders.
I won't miss it.
See you in October, and will come into it less crazed with a few more songs in my head. I'll also bring a flannel lined sleeping bag and won't refuse those ear plugs.
