Well, I'm finally getting around to posting something about Marion's visit with us old hippies out here in the woods. I hope the rope burns from where I had to tie her to a chair and make her listen to my singing heal soon. Next time, Marion, don't struggle so hard. It only makes matters worse.

But, seriously.... We had a wonderful three-day visit from Marion. Hours of fiddle tunes on the deck during the day followed by hours of trading songs back and forth in the house after dinner. It was particularly nice to hear her do some songs written by other Mudcatters (Rick Fileding, Jed Marum, Jerry Rasmussen) whose music I hadn't heard before, as well as her own songs. Got to spend the last few hours before her departure at a party where she finally got to jam with some genuine Florida fiddlers. All in all, a great time. If you're on Marion's to-be-visited list, I hope you enjoy her visit as much as we did.
