I guess it's all just part of the price we pay for having a big free (apart from our ISP charges) wide-open internet.

Each one of them is not that big a deal; it's just the sheer number of them that wears you down. I can't help but think "What a stupid waste of a great resource!" Apparently, two thirds of all e-mail traffic today is spam. Add to that this new spate of virus bombarding, countless chain e-mails, hoaxes, general crap most of us never even bother to read through before deleting....

The further we come, the more garbage we haul with us.
