I actually sell those filter thingies with the spigot by the sink.
I drink Multipure filtered water. Even though i have clean mountain
stream water you never know what fell in, pooped in or died in the
water upstream, and we have had cases of giardia around here. The
filter i use is guaranteed to remove particles down to .5 microns
which is supposed to keep giardia cysts and other ooglies out of the water. They are made of solid carbon blocks and I have used them for years. I have customers who get them because they remove chlorine
taste from tap water which is treated with that. The medicine you
have to take to remove giardia, flagel, is carcinogenic so i hope
to prevent having to take that treatment!! It is quite efficient
financially and otherwise to have a point-of-use water filter in
your home instead of hauling jugs around or taking up space for a
dispenser in your house. Oh, my, the ads below are trying to sell
you bottled water with your own private, full color, waterproof
labels! What will they think of next??!!
