In common with Leadfingers & Deckman, I suddenly started listening to the words of some of the Irish songs I was singing in the late 60's and thought 'I'm not sure I should be going there!' I agree about 'Dublin in the green' being a cracking tune. There is a version I heard which purports to go back to the Battle of Blenheim
