The "No children," "single sex" questions etc are sort of like asking if folks are vegetarians: If you don't mark anything, they assume you don't care and will take potluck, so to speak.

Some families prefer to be in a cabin where there are other kids. That way the kids make friends and keep each other busy. If you get in such a cabin, though, don't expect to sleep late. Those kids will be up at six or at least it seems that way.

If you don't want to stay up late, you may want a cabin with kids to minimize the night-owls waking you up when they come in. I can't ever remember hearing that anyone had asked for a single-sex cabin but I guess they do sometimes.

You can change clothes in the bath house for your cabin area if you can't get privacy in the cabin. Bring stuff to sleep in that you don't mind wearing in front of other people. Bring shoes you can slip into if you need to go to the bathroom in the night, and bring a flashlight. There are no lighted paths through the woods to help you stumble home in the wee hours.

As the average age gets older, the amount of snoring in the cabins seems to increase exponentially. In past years we have supplied ear plugs gratis. Bring your own if you have any.
