I'm glad somebody posted this -- I've been in a bit of a funk since his body was confirmed or I would have done it myself.

What a mind! And what a tragic loss.

Really need to watch "Swimming to Cambodia" and especially "Monster In a Box again." Loved his quirky cameos in films like "Twenty Bucks" (quirky enough film, too -- a favorite of mine).

Anybody else read his article in a travel magazine (Conde Nast Traveller?) a few years back about his experience with psychic surgeons in (I think) the Philippines. (Sorry, my random access memory is getting more and more random.)

He and his work will be missed in this household.
