Another thought, I hope it's in keeping with the question. Many times over the years, and there's been lots of years, I have purposefully left a song. By that I mean, I have stopped singing it on purpose. The reasons vary, but when I do this deliberatly, it's always with the thought that I will return to it someday. And someday maybe 20 years. And, when I do return to the song, it's always refreshing and full of spirit. And here's the strange part, I usually return to the same "version" that I left. But it always feels like a new friend!
