Thread Name: Songs that work well unintentionally
Subject: Songs that work well unintentionally
The "worst songs" thread got me to thinking about the theme from Batman. But the more I thought about that song (to which, I'm proud to say, I know ALL the words), the more I got to thinking: you know, the Batman theme is supposed to be campy, but it WORKS for me.

I've heard that "Suicide" from MASH was supposed to be comically bad as well...something about asking someone's teenage son to write some deliberately amateurish lyrics? (can anyone confirm?)

Can anyone else come up with examples of songs that work despite their author's intentions to dash off a wee bit of tripe?
