Keep in mind the tale I've told in several other threads: I had 4 spinal surgeries with not much getting better; actually got worse. 3 discs were pulled and bone put in place of 'em in my neck. It took Mayo Clinic (last resort) to find I'd had MS all along. Possibly didn't need the surgeries.

Exhaust non-invasive stuff before you go to neurosugeons who see the symptoms with the tunnel vision of their specialty before they think of other possibilities.
