Grim in the lighting of the Greys Inn road
A Carter came as blue as a cadaver
On a bone white wagon with a phosphorescent load

But late one night I stood upon the doorstep
Watching for the candle light to wobble up the road
Til hlf past one I waited on the doorstep
But the bone white wagon never showed

And now when I am putting out the dustbin
Ten Ton Lorries lumber up the road
I would rather have a man who looks like a cadaver
Cos that little bit of horror used to lighten up my load
