I learned the following version from my wife. It's similar to Mary in Kentucky's version:

Lullaby, and good night
go to bed now and sleep tight
close your eyes, start to yawn
pleasant dreams until the dawn
when the sun lights the sky
you'll awake feeling high
start your day with a smile
life is always worthwhile

Don't know the original source, but I like it. I've sung it to my daughter any number of times.
