Good heavens! Another early hit for Bob Merrill, creator of HOW MUCH IS THAT DOGGIE IN THE WINOW? (Arf! Arf!). Merrill wrote on a toy xylophone, but it didn't stop him from writing Broadway musicals a few years later on, NEW GIRL IN TOWN, CARNIVAL and the lyrics to FUNNY GIRL. Sadly, Merrill ended his life with a shotgun in the late 90s.
