Sore Fingers Summer? School at Kingham School, near Stowe-in-the-Wold. A 5 day workshop for bluegrass and Old Time instruments. I'm doing OT fiddle with Beverly Smith. Jody Stecher is teaching OT banjo. I believe there are still places in the OT classes, and maybe some in some bluegrass classes. Anyone interested should check details at the Web Page. In addition to the classes shown, Carl Jones (who's Bev Smith's partner) is doing a special one day guitar workshop on Easter monday (cost £25)with emphasis on OT, both flatpicking and fingerstyle.
It's a fine week, with lovely food, world class instruction and superb jams in excellent surroundings.
