When I was an infant there was a music box (former container for a powder puff) at cribside that played "Brahms' Lullabye". That had to be the first tune I learned. As a toddler, I am sure I sang along with whatever was on the radio, including "Shrimp Boats Are A'Comin'" and "How Much Is That Doggie in the Window?". The first song I learned to play on the guitar was "Jingle Bells" followed quickly by "End of the Rainbow". My first public performance, in duet with my good friend, Keith Behner, featured "Red River Valley" and "South Wind".
