I read these words through tears. I feel the loss of a great soul to our world. I feel priviledged to have known Rick, and his kindness, humor and love of music. The nearest thing to immortality that I can be certain of is to be carried in the hearts of others, and Rick will always have a place in mine, as clearly he has in many; I can only hope to carry on and impart to others those gifts he shared with us of music and of living.
