Don, I can make you a new pin, out of bronze or drill rod, (cheaper). Or you can probably get an original one from GunParts Corp., or one of several trapdoor people on the net. The reason the original one was bronze was that fouling from the black powder & corrosive priming used in those days would rut a steel pin in there solid. The bronze ones would stick, too, as the block would rust even if the pin didn't; I have a breechblock in that condition. Email me at MertBaker@prodigy.com if you want, & we'll see what can be done.
