In all the recent features regarding the 20th anniversary of The Miners Strike that I have seen sympathy has been overwhelmingly with the miners. "Daddy did you stay out through the strike, Did you stand beside your workmates through the fight, Or did you show your yellow belly, spill your guts there on the telly, And let the bosses fill you full of shite?"
