I mildly disapprove of digital clocks. They destroy the sense of completeness within a day and fail to exhibit the relative proportionality of blocks of time, both past and anticipated. Analog time is more holistic and inevitably brings us both closure and the promise of new beginnings and is in accord with the inevitable cycles of mother nature and the universe. Digital time is linear, military time and speaks by its very nature to a countdown preceeding an explosion. In fact, digital time has no capacity to express renewal and hope.
