Hi Guys!! I'm fine, Jeri. Thank you and everyone else for your concern. Here you were all worried and I was having a ball. Yes, it passed right over our little peninsula but thank goodness we were at low tide. We went out on the gazebo many times and just enjoyed the elements in all their glory. They have such glory!!

About 3pm, when the trees were all bent at a 45 degree angle, we received a phone call telling us about a hurricane party at the local beach pub. Off we went to Donovans. They had a live band (sorry, not folk and very loud and electric). Perfect for the day. Honey got to play loud and powerful drums, and I got to dance to my hearts content. ...after about three Tanqueray and tonics.

Donovans has a large deck that overlooks the ocean and we spent lots of time out there when we weren't inside making music and dancin'. Glenn has been a surfer for about 28 years and he was beside himself with the beauty of the waves. He's probably out there today.

What a surprise this morning. I thought I might have another day out of work, but there was the sun and very few clouds. So, here I am, still filled with awe at the storm and the music and the fellowship and the fun.
